It's Jess and this will be my second, Quinn. Quinn will be coming around the carnival sometime during the bonfire methinks! All quiet and surly looking. He's looking for Tom because he misses him because he used to work for him before Tom bought the carnival. Now he's trying to work for him again and he misses him.
Quinn will keep to himself, speak only when spoken to, and generally appear very unapproachable. The latter will only help his new role as head of security though. :D He's just a big teddy bear though, all tough on the outside and soft, squishy on the inside. He's pretty good with his hands, having worked outdoors for the majority of his childhood (his father was a carpenter and had taught Quinn all he knew about it), and will help out others when he sees they need it. Usually quietly and without expecting anything in return. He's a good guy deep down, but he'll eventually get a reputation for having quite the temper. His buttons are easy to push, especially when it comes to women, even more so the women that he cares about. He's not afraid to fight and will more than likely be the first to swing. Thankfully, his ability definitely helps him out in that department. Woohoo, enhanced durability!
I think I've rambled about him enough. TOM! HE MISSES YOU, if you haven't noticed by now. XD LOLA! Ready to break a poor guys heart for the second time? Everyone else... Quinn could use a good friend or two. I would also love to see people that don't like him just because he's quiet, mean looking and has an array for scars across his knuckles. Other than that, I'm open to any and all other ideas as well!

HOLA! So...I got roped back into this madness, which means it's time for a re-intro! I'M KELLY. THIS IS LOLA. HELLLLOOOOO.
So yes. For anyone who might not recall, Lola is a (now 20-year-old) prostitute/mermaid with the ability to breathe underwater. She's charming when it suits her, and is a master of walling herself off emotionally so nothing can ever hurt her again. She also tends to lure drunk creeps near water before gutting them. So. Yeah. There's that. :3
LOLA IS ALSO A LESBIAN. But those feelings have been buried. Um. Plot? Haha, it'd be cool if someone drunkenly took her by surprise on Sunday, since that's about the only time all her walls will crumble and her terrified vulnerabilities will show. Somewhere down the line, it'd be interesting if she got pregnant. OR WHATEVER, I AM OPEN TO ALL THE THINGS <3333

Hello, hello! I'm Jessica. I've.. played with most of you either in this game or in the past. I've just dragged my ass out of an unannounced hiatus. Dealing with health issues (still :\), but trying not to let it get me down and really wanting to write again. So.. here I am. Please be patient with me. :'(
I have Denisa here. She's basically a revamp of Emily from when the game was first around. Fire dancer, fire resistance, but a lot more friendlier than Emily was. Deni has her moments when she'll clam up into herself (stress, prior victim of depression.. :\), but overall she's generally a kind, caring young woman that's still learning about herself and what life has to offer.
Anywho.. Email is the easiest way to reach me (hoeshe @ gmail .com), but I'm occasionally on AIM (hoshirules) as well. I'm really glad to be back with all of you fine folks and look forward to playing with everyone!

Hi! It's about bedtime for me, but I thought I'd follow suit with the others here. Uhm, I am totally new here, but I do know Tiff and probably some of the TQ'ers, or so I've been told. :) My name is Steph and I have three characters for you to interact with.
On this journal here, there's Jimmy, NOLA born and raised and the son of a fishmonger. He's a 'true' Half Man, meaning that there's bitter little of him from the waist down, sorta. He's a cheerful sort of guy who's finally getting to see a piece of the world and he's so excited, you guys. :D He hasn't been with the carnival terribly long, only a few months, give or take and is also content doing the dishes.

ponger_mofo is Todd Warner, half German, half Roma and completely American, who looks far younger than he really is. He's been with the carnival since the late 1800's, was trained as an acrobat, eventually did his bit for the WWI war effort and then came back. Warning, he's an ass, but he's a funny one. His power is that of resurrection and it's one that he really hates.
And finally,sans_regrets is my mobster turned roustabout and he hasn't been around for terribly long, but he has excellent haggling skills (and the drive to take it further if needed) and a desire to work and learn. He's also a precog, albeit a limited one so far.
Any thoughts, lines and so on? :D

Taking a page out of Shae's book and jumping on the intro post bandwagon! I'm so excited to be back with y'all - this was seriously one of the most awesome games I've ever had the pleasure to be a part of. So, yay!
I've got my same two girls here. This is Miriam Stiglitz (Mim to friends). Her history is much the same, but I've moved up the timeline a bit so she's still a relatively new arrival to the carnival and still very much an outsider. She pretends she doesn't speak English around people she doesn't know or doesn't want to talk to, but I would love for someone to break through that and become a true friend to her. I think she might be the youngest member so far at 17 - correct me if I'm wrong. Mim is a musician and she can manipulate pheromones, which she hates and doesn't tell anyone. I'd be interesting if a not-so-nice person discovered her secret and tried to get her to use this skill for a not-so-noble purpose.
Then of course there's Charlotte, my buxom red-headed psychic. She's been with the carnival since 1929, so she's been around a while. :P Friends, enemies, lovahs, I'm open for pretty much anything!

Hello, peoples!
This is your friendly NPC for the week. His name is Thomas Christopher Powell and he is a writer, as mentioned. His pen name is Amos Guy, or A. Guy for short. He has grand dreams of writing a bestselling fiction novel, but unfortunately his writing skills are dismal and atrocious. For the time being, he writes cheesy bodice rippers (that sell relatively well) and pick your own adventure novels (that he hasn't been able to get a publisher to pick up (pick your own adventure novels never came out until 1970, but I DON'T CARE, DEAL WITH IT)).
He's kind of a derpy, gullible, naive, clumsy fellow. He loves the idea of magic and collects fairy tales, but since he's unaware of the fact that he has a Power Negation ability, he doesn't know supernatural abilities actually exist. He's extremely nosy and there's no such thing as a taboo topic for him.
He'll be herp-derping around the carnival all week. If you want him to watch/ruin your character's show, bother them with a bunch of dumb questions, have your character be familiar with his work, or just want him to be his generally dopey self please comment here or ping me on aim!
